"What's the ONE thing that will 10x our growth?" It’s never just one thing.

Our client went $20k→$80k MRR by fixing activation, clarifying ICP, and adding expansion revenue.

Each improvement compounded the others. Need help identifying your highest-leverage growth opps? demandmaven.io/

I've seen too many founders spend $100K with an agency only to learn they didn't have product-market fit.

There are cheaper ways to learn this.

Before you hire the big agency, make sure you have:

80%+ NRR at 12 months
Clear channel hypotheses
>6 months of customer data

I am also triggered by this 😂

You've probably written about this before and I should do my research, but I've always been curious about your writing practice.

How it developed, how it's evolved over the years.

Wild stat from my years troubleshooting slow growth:

60-70% of product opportunities aren't even conscious in your customers' minds.

They can tell you about "quality-of-life improvements", but rarely about "true value generators".

That's *your* job to figure out.

Founder: "We're doing everything right but stuck at $50k MRR." Me: Have you looked at net revenue cohort retention, activation rates, or customer jobs-to-be-done yet? 😉 Need help getting unstuck? DM me or book your free growth audit at demandmaven.io/contact

"We're doing everything right but still can't grow."

Translation: You haven't checked your retention yet. Under 80% after 12 months? Marketing won't save you – you've got a leaky bucket.

Let's fix it: demandmaven.io/contact/

Someone needs to make a SaaS that shows you all the courses you bought so when you reach to buy the next one, it's like

*AHT AHT* here are the 2-3 other courses you already have like the one you're about to pay for.
asiaorangio.bsky.social
Pull your revenue cohort retention report right now. If you're under 80% after 12 months, stop throwing marketing tactics at the wall. Fix the leak first, then optimize acquisition.

DM me if you need help diagnosing what's really holding you back.

The fix isn't always obvious:

Sometimes it's activation.
Sometimes it's monetization.
Sometimes it's customer fit.
Sometimes it's product gaps.

Best-in-class SaaS companies?

They hit 100%+ retention after 12 months through retention AND expansion revenue. Comfortable growth usually starts around 80% retention.

Anything below 60% after 6 months = leaky bucket problem.
asiaorangio.bsky.social
If you're at 50% retention after 6 months, you're replacing half your MRR every 6 months.

If you're at 45% retention after 12 months, you're replacing 55% of your revenue annually.

And that, my friend, is why growth feels like pushing a boulder uphill.

Net Revenue Retention. Most subscription metrics platforms have this report built-in (Stripe, ProfitWell, ChartMogul, etc.) but founders rarely know how to use it.

It shows you what % of revenue from each cohort is retained month-over-month.

Your monthly churn looks fine at 3-5%, but you're still struggling to grow?

Here's the metric that's probably punching you in the face: ↓

Had a fantastic conversation on the #InsightsUnlocked podcast with Lija Hogan from UserTesting. We dug into what it really takes to troubleshoot growth challenges in SaaS, and why customer conversations are the secret weapon so many teams overlook.

Random but I always wondered who got the OG Asia handle. :)

Most teams try to fix stalled growth by building more features. @sparktoro.bsky.social did it by fixing their UX.

After some solid user research with @asiaorangio.bsky.social, they used Balsamiq to rethink the product—and grew signups by 20%.

See how they did it: balsamiq.com/customers/sp...

"I wish your product could do [feature that already exists]." Heard this in 3 churn interviews last month. But your churn problem isn't missing features ➡️ It's customers not knowing what you can already do.

Your 3% monthly churn might look healthy, but your 60% Net Revenue Retention says you're replacing half your customers every year. Yikes 😓 #SaaSFounders, here's the numbers you really need to be looking at

Stop 👏 using 👏 survivor bias 👏 to justify 👏 poor onboarding.
3-5 #UXinterviews will show you exactly where you're losing good prospects. My tips:

Don't guess your activation metrics. Build a new user retention report and layer different behaviors on top. Look for ANY action that beats your baseline retention by 2-3x. Listen to the latest #InDemand podcast ep:

Everyone puts "data-driven" in their core values but then makes decisions based on feelings and assumptions.
Your actual core values are what you do under pressure, not what looks good on your website.
