#Target11 of the 🌍Biodiversity Framework #KMGBF, which addresses nature's contributions to people, recognizes that water & biodiversity are inseparable. Next year the review of progress in the #KMGBF implementation at #COP17Armenia will be an important milestone towards the 2026 UN Water Conference.

At #UNGA I had the opportunity to discuss with Carlos Manuel Rodriguez, CEO of @thegef.bsky.social, avenues for stepping up biodiversity finance for the accelerated implementation of the #KMGBF.

As we approach the global review of progress at COP17 in Yerevan, the GEF's support will be vital.
