If you are concerned about the power religion now has in the US

- look for a non-religious organization near you, and support them
- talk to someone you know who is not religious and say you appreciate them
- call out attacks on secularism you see in your daily life

The problem is that what ICE is doing, it justifies through religion as well. It couldn't do these things without that justification.

Thankfully this attitude has mostly been banished to a few corners of the internet over the past two decades. Go to atheist and humanist events now and they are very welcoming.
