fallen order gave us an older black woman who was just as afraid to connect to the force because she was tortured into using the dark side (and only tipped over cuz she saw her student!!! be tortured into a sith!!!) and thought that cal was the better choice

i also don't quite know how to word it correctly, but it feels like the camaraderie between the mantis crew happens where the player doesn't see it. it gives mcu writing with very few tension points and how quippy cal is. maybe it's better in survivor but i'm not really holding my breath

i recently bought the jedi fallen order and fallen survivor games cuz i do think that despite how wobbly and kinda jank the combat is in the first game it's fun (i can't say anything about the second game yet it'll be my first time playing it), and i know ppl generally like cal but fuck man
