I'm a film & TV director, notably on episodes of FROM (MGM+) and TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES (The CW). I have 12 TV episodes and 4 feature-length projects under my belt and I really hope that isn't the end of it, so if you know of shows hiring, please let them know I welcome their consideration!

In Harris Dickinson's Reddit AMA, he names Lynne Ramsay, Andrea Arnold, & Joanna Hogg as three of his biggest filmmaking influences multiple times, Halina Reijn as another, and recommends VAGABOND (Agnes Varda), ROCKS (Sarah Gavron), ALI & AVA (Clio Barnard). I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

I feel like a broken record, but I have to keep saying it over and over again: a farmer bailout won’t do much of anything because the market is gone. There will be no incentive to plant next year.

The bailout will help payoff farmer debt to the banks. That’s all.

He is in SO MANY ads. No master list, but so far I've found Progressive, H&R Block, Minute Maid, Carvana, Hellmann's Mayonnaise, FIFA on FOX, Apple TV (before he had a show there, the premise of the ad was "Jon Hamm wants to be on an Apple TV show"), and he's of course the voice of Mercedes Benz.

I wrote an episode of television in 18 hours, taking into consideration actor availability, daylight shooting hours, standing sets, turnaround times, unit moves, weather cover, budget shortfalls, oh and block shooting with another episode which had already started prep. GenAI can gargle my balls.

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.

If you've got Prime Video, you can watch FROM during the month of October without having to subscribe to the MGM+ add-on. I directed episodes 7 and 8 of Season 1, and they're really good, for which I take only the credit I am due because everyone who works on the show is exceptional at what they do.
