Again, your facts are not facts. You’re confusing the fact that more Jews live in the USA as a whole than Israel. The pop of Israel is close to the ENTIRE pop of NYC. And Tel Aviv metro area has more Jewish residents than NYC. But yes, there are lots of NYC Jews. And he’s pledged to represent them.

No, I’m not arguing that. It’s why I don’t use that chant, even though I agree that everyone should have the same rights in that and every territory.

Except it doesn’t literally mean that to a LOT of chanters. It means freedom for all from the river to the sea. And not condemning everything, including things that have NOTHING to do with NYC politics, is not a reasonable request.

“Supporting breakthroughs” rather than just doing what we already know. He always emphasizes that. He actually IS doing some things (like supporting geothermal and “advanced” solar), but always seems focussed on the next new thing rather than the practical current thing. Even his solar is doing that

Perhaps not “yearn”, but they’re far more open to it. “Among Americans under 30, 62 percent feel favorable toward socialism” (Cato institute poll). The number is around 40% for all Americans. So given that I can see why people wouldn’t necessarily think it was tongue-in-cheek.

I just looked at the poll. It’s 9% now, it was 9% in May, and it was 5% in January. So is this real??? Anyone in Alberta hearing stuff about ALP?

Im not sure he has said he’s anti-Zionist. But that’s not the same as anti-Jewish and as mayor of New York he would not be setting any policy related to Zionism or the existence of Israel. “If you agree on 9/12 issues, vote for me. If you agree with 12/12 see a psychiatrist”(Ed Koch)

Try applying the logic to slave owners and you’ll see that it’s not such a weird take after all. If you suppress slavery then slavery will no longer be a vehicle for suppression. That’s correct, and a good thing.

I suspect it’s mostly support-parking. They don’t like the NDP I guess and hope ALP will take off. When it comes to an election they’ll likely mostly vote NDP.

So many lies. London is NOT, in fact “largely Muslim” (it’s 15%) and seeing the Niqab happens, but is rare. And why do you care what other women wear?
