Not on the same scale but there is a village somewhere (I think possibly Switzerland) that sits in a valley meaning it gets very little daylight for much of the year. The installed a big mirror array to beam light in.

Well that was fun - the macerating toilet on the boat packed up many weeks ago - resorted to using the spare porta-potti in the mean time. Just spent 3 hours removing it, taking the macerator to bits, cleaning and re-installing.

#narrowboat life eh? Wouldn't want to swap it though.

Not that I'm anti-vax (which is a bloody stupid term, a lot of people are just anti one or other vax, not all of them) - however history shows us there are very few unbiased scientists, they have research paid for by 'interested parties' and funding pulled if they disagree. Look up Claire Patterson.
