really funny to me to see people say that they didn't know what a totenkopf was before today and try to defend a guy with a tattoo of one. like if you're that unaware then why should i listen to your opinion on the matter

you know we've won the culture war when the cortisol addict liberals that spent years crying about how "abolish ice" and "defund the police" were too radical now have to contort their worldview into a pretzel to justify being mad at the people who were right all along
every smug internet communist tweet about showing up to a No Kings protest with an abolish ICE shirt to scare the libs is getting completely mogged by the real-life winemoms showing up with slogans like "ICE will melt in hell"

yeah man, every “internet communist” is super owned that the winemoms have become more radicalized than the entire Dem Party, we’re all so fucking mad that window of acceptable political opinions has shifted to talk of damning ICE to hell. none of us predicted it would happen either

Something hysterically funny about pointing out how lib winemoms have become radicalized into having more radical politics than the centrist cohort you belong to and chalking that up to a W against the left

America is being run by people whose social media presence would see them getting fired from a part time job stacking shelves.
If you worked at Aldi and posted a video of you pouring shit all over Aldi customers, you wouldn't work at Aldi.

imagining paying for a service where i want to search something on google and it tells me no, it’s too tired to do that
This person is paying OpenAI two hundred dollars a month to have a chatbot gaslight them about making an excel spreadsheet

Not a shitpost: #NoKings is feel-good performative activism for comfortable mostly upper and upper middle class white folks and that’s good, actually. Millions of people in the streets protesting a fascist regime is good. It is good for the normie baseline to be massive displays of public dissent.
Underrated thing about the NYC Mayoral debate is that Cuomo has taken to referring to Mamdani exclusively as "The Assemblyman" because he refuses to learn how to say his name correctly. All while trying to claim he's never had a job before.
No one goes to the 9th Ave N Train stop on purpose. 9th Ave is a liminal space designed to punish MTA travelers for planning around subway maintenance wrong. If you end up at 9th Ave you have to get back on the train in the other direction and start over. It is the Numemon of train stops.

The teeny tiny No Kings things in very red areas are so huge

Say like five or six people show up. None of them knew each other before. Suddenly they’re all friends. And maybe from that you get a group that does longer-term organizing that can punch *way* above its weight considering where it is

trumps strategy of destroying blue states which bring in majority of countries revenue and then also destroying and bringing red states to mass suicide with tariffs doesn’t make much sense so far

this merged so seamlessly with all the protest photos I didn't even realize at first

Never looked closely at that one, I thought the dude was a girl and the beard was part of her hair. Either way I'm happy for them.

90 FUCKING PERCENT

i’d love for cis folks to remember what the nyt, atlantic, guardian, daily mail, times of london, ny post, cnn, wall street journal, & economist took from your transgender neighbors & loved ones before the next time you consider giving them money or listening to a word they say.
It’s almost like when you don’t have a rabidly trans-hostile media ecosystem, people generally support human rights.

Do you think I’d explain my masterstroke if there remained the slightest chance of you affecting its outcome? I made the NYPD woke 35 minutes ago.

Is politics weighing on you? Does it ever make you feel alone, like "everyone" is on board with awful things and "no one" cares (or close)?

Then you should go to a No Kings protest. That feeling isn't uncommon, but it's a trick. Go be around some of the many people who agree with you. You'll see.
