Is Pumpkinhead based on a true story?

The Short Answer. Nope - Pumpkinhead isn't pulled from real folklore. The creature was an original creation, dreamed up by screenwriter Mark Patrick Carducci and brought to life by special effects legend Stan Winston (the guy behind the Alien Queen and Predator).

It was actually a “Celebration of Life” ceremony. I’ve not been to one before, but it was pretty much a funeral without a lot of people wearing black (ha). It was nice, though ♥️♥️

Thanks! Yeah, we’ve been having to do them all summer. A stager recently came in and told us to paint everything white 😩 But we did that, and now we’re back to open houses. It’s all…awful 😅
