Hi, Tw*tter refugees and new people!

I'm Stu. I mostly post about Nintendo, but I play a lot of older games for multiple consoles going back as far as the 80s.
I also seem to be a big fan of sequels going by some of my favourite games listed below. Always looking for others to chat and game with 🎮
I'm not surprised that Pokémon Shield is my most played game; I spent a LOT of time shiny hunting in lockdown and beyond, and have played a lot of Dynamax Adventures thereafter.
I underestimated how much Splatoon 1 took over my life 2015-2017! There was such a great community to play it with.
Ah found it, thanks 👍
Where are you finding your stats? I didn't realise there was a way to see them outwith the Switch itself.
Yeah you do! Have you played it before?
I got all 120 stars in Mario Galaxy 2. Still one of my favourite games of all time, and definitely my favourite Mario title. It looks beautiful on the Switch 2, and the joycons feel a lot more responsive than the Wii remote/nunchuk combo. Marvellous.
I feel the levels are just a bit more streamlined and the mechanics are used enough but aren't overused. It's just concentrated fun. Both games have an incredible score for sure.
-definitely make sure you 100% the game, there are more stages to unlock right up until the final couple of stars.
It's one of my favourite games of all time and I slightly prefer it to the first game. If you 100% the stages where you can as you go you'll probably be at just over 100 stars when you beat Bowser, but not sure what the minimum you need is. Make sure you get the comet coin on every stage and-
Same as you, beat Bowser in SMG2 earlier on and have 101 stars atm! Also doing Pokédex stuff on Omega Ruby, doing the last couple of stages and Zack and Wiki, and I'm really meant to be getting back to Professor Layton and Pandora's Box... also the new time attack mode on Croc: Legend of the Gobbos!
Still incredible. I found it a struggle with the pro-contoller, but playing with detached joy-con makes it feel as fresh as 2010.
STUPID SEXY CYCLIST!
Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all!

nothing at all!

NOTHING AT ALL!
When the mother-in-law comes to visit 😁
I've been running fairly regularly lately, so despite not playing Ring Fit for 8 months I thought it wouldn't be too bad.
It was murder. I have aches in muscles I forgot I had 🥵 Must have done me some good though, right?
The cold winter nights are back. Time to give my Switch 1 something to do 💪
My wife has ordered it for me for Christmas 🤗
They stayed in bubbles for the vast majority of it, but they had a good few tries first 😬
27) Super Mario 3D World (replay)
Played through this twice before, but this time the kids played it with me and we all had a blast 😊 It's very accessible for young kids as they could hop into bubbles at the tricky parts. They enjoyed it so much we did every stage with every character for a 100% run

Piranha Plants in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door are the sleepiest creatures in the game, with some of their subtypes being up to 110% sleepy. This may be a reference to the famously sleepy Piranha Plants from Super Mario 64.
I'm doing more dex completion on Omega Ruby and wondered why the camera zoomed in on. Nurse Joy. Turns out my starter caught Pokérus! I've only caught it natively a couple of times over the years so this was an unexpected surprise 😊

"Fresh", sealed copies of Super Mario RPG actually have a unique title screen. This screen is lost permanently on that cartridge after playing and saving just once, and can not be restored without tinkering with the cartridge or waiting decades for the save battery to run out.
It only took 11 years, but I finally used Pokémon Bank for the first time! I never gave my copy of Omega Ruby a huge amount of love, so earlier I used Bank to transfer everything from my Pokémon X file across. I'm not a million miles away from completing the Pokédex and getting the shiny charm ✨️
