Many moth species are thought to use the moon to orientate themselves, which works fine until they encounter an artificial light, which causes them to spiral inwards. This enables moths to easily be sampled using moth traps.

Goldcrest - along with the closely-related Firecrest, this is the smallest bird in the British Isles. Not easy to photograph as they are often amongst dense vegetation & move quickly.
