What this says to me is that there are factions competing for control - one group firing and another faction worried about the blowback. No one is in charge.
It seems pretty obvious that there is no single person in command but factions that operate independently with one group caring only about destroying government and another faction worried about appearances. How much of the "oppsie" is real and how much a lie to muddy what is happening?
Didn't we get this same "two-Trump-judges and another" 9th circuit panel on the LA National Guard Nationalization case in June? At some point you start wondering if the Republicans have a fix in on the "random" panel selection.
The fraction of children being circumcised in the US has been dropping for the last twenty years but the reported autism rate has gone up (mostly from more diagnosis) but this makes the claim even dumber.
Trump doesn't care about anyone else. The only reason he has done pardons is to stick it to the people who prosecuted him and protect his power now. As he leaves office (or dies) there is no reason for him to make the effort.
With Vance, who knows? What's in it for him? Self protection maybe?
