Fine, a flintlock weapon of some sort that I cannot see. I couldn’t fit that in the character limit. Although if they do have a whole-ass minutemen muzzle-loader rifle I’m going to enjoy seeing their attempts to reload it while I’m biting their neck.

Pathfinder session ended with bandits in the process of shaking down the rest of the party. I was separated from them at the time and one of them pointed a pistol at me saying “Try anything funny and I’ll shoot ya”.
I said “I accept your terms” and fired off a telekinetic projectile.

Just another false dichotomy in diets. Cane sugar vs corn sugar is just like animal fat vs vegetable oil. Is one of them 0.7% worse for you? Probably? But they're both AWFUL and choosing one over the other is just choosing which gun to shoot yourself in the foot with.

It's a strange trend. There are benefits to getting more calories from protein than from refined carbs that's true, but if you're baking something with a ton of flour and sugar you're just putting those carbs back in! Plus if you do a comparison usually the "high-protein" version has like 4g more.

Okay but like, if they pinky-swear not to do it again then they can't do it again. It's in The Rules. To do it they'd have to lie and also break the rules. That is a behavior that you would simply not see from this famously honest and rules-respecting administration.

Sometimes I doubt, “do I REALLY have ADHD tho?” and then I think about submitting my timesheet and how every time it’s like “Okay if you fill out this form we will literally give you a thousand dollars.” And I’m like 🤔🤔🤔 ehhhh I’ll get to it later.

Contrast is important! A lot of people get hazy and forgetful in deep trance, so making them sharp and fully aware when you demonstrate how well their programming is working can really drive that home.

And to be clear these are cases where nothing had changed operationally. There absolutely are minor alarms which, when sufficiently ignored, choose to suddenly become emergencies. “Oh shit the water ran out!” Yeah if only a Low Water Alarm had told you about this two days ago.

With my clients it’s always with how they flag “emergency” service requests. I look at the event logs and see that the alarm they’re upset about happened 11 days ago. Why was it not even worth reporting for 11 days and NOW it’s an emergency?

Cohesive game design? Satisfying traversal mechanics? Rewarding gameplay loop?? Overwhelmingly positive Steamscore where every compliment is followed by question marks. Meanwhile the game’s actual fanbase straight up rioted when a graphical tweak accidentally reduced the maximum assfat value by 4%.

Deeply funny to me how much free press Atlyss is getting just from professional haters going like “hehehoohoo I’m gonna make a video dunking on stupid furry gooner game” and then the video is 10% that “joke” and 90% them being like “I’m? Having fun?? Game… GOOD???”

Insane to me how slow banks have been to catch on to this. Are they so bamboozled by the buzzwords that they look at a four year plan that needs more fluid VC than exists in the entire country to build infrastructure that has done nothing but lose money for years and say “well it’s the future tho”?

Oh EXTREMELY yes. There’s a huge demographic of people who treat politics like it’s this series of abstract philosophical trolley problems that they can debate about for internet points. Those people get real mad when you point out that real people are fucking dying over this stuff.

I don’t tend to blame the stupid. Not directly anyway. They are a product of the decades of decay, neglect and crippling underfunding of our school systems. They may well have flourished, were they provided the conditions to do so when they were young.

So real. You never HAVE to put away childish things. If you realize that your tastes changed and you now find joy in more ‘mature’ pursuits then by all means follow that growth. But don’t give up something you love because you’re not “supposed” to love that at your age.
