The Royals have won the xG battle 5 times in 19 games this year. 3 of those 5 occurrences have been in the last 4 games (Angel City, Portland, & North Carolina). The other 2 were v. BAY to begin the year and v. CHI (thanks to a penalty).

The #U20MYNT roster is out and #RSL again has 2 players on the list: Zavier Gozo and Marcos Zambrano (who has been starting for the Monarchs since he joined the team this summer). It's a strong roster since this is the last camp before the U20 world cup.

I'm told Real Salt Lake will receive up to $350k GAM ($200k + $150k add-ons) from CF Montréal in deal for Bode Hidalgo.

RSL retains sell-on clause as well.

Because only 4 out of the 18 MLS teams in Leagues Cup will advance, it will be difficult for any team, including #RSL, to qualify for the knockouts. However, their results have been quite good recently and they have an average strength of schedule, so I don’t think it’s unrealistic.

I’m not feeling existential about that #RSL loss at all. Cincy’s defensive spine is very, very good (they now have the most points in MLS btw) so we struggled much more with the ball than our previous game, but it was a hard-fought game with a mildly disappointing ending.

I thought this was coming. He’s a good player and I’m still confused as to why #RSL managed him the way they did. He was captain and DPOY of the Monarchs at 18 yo, then they sent him off on loan for 2 straight seasons then released him. I hope he has a good career with STL.

Sources: St. Louis City sign defender Jaziel Orozco to a first team deal.

Orozco, 21, joined the club's second team this winter after beginning his pro career with Real Salt Lake.

He has started last two STL matches (added to roster on short-term loan). Now, full first team.
