Some personal news: today is my final day at The Athletic, ending a 6+ year tenure on its staff.

🇺🇸 Sources: New York Red Bulls midfielder Daniel Edelman is attracting interest from Europe and other MLS clubs.

RBNY have rejected offers in past windows as they haven't met valuation.

Edelman, 22, could be on the move this winter. He has made 117 first team apps.

What a career Darlington Nagbe has had.

After the Crew won MLS Cup in 2023 I was covering the celebrations in the locker room.

Two different champagne-soaked Crew staffers made sure to tell me:

“He’s the best fucking player this league has seen. You can fucking tweet that.”

Sources: A rumor that LAFC and Tata Martino have verbally agreed to terms is premature.

I'm told no decision made by LAFC with any candidates and not particularly close yet.

Tata Martino likely in mix of names, and would definitely be interested if offered, but nothing close.
