Agreed. You are not alone.
That is going to be spectacular!
Oh no!!! Our family has dogs and we have had stuffed animals have been mistaken for dog toys and assaulted. It's tragic.
Life is short. If you can swing it, buy the damn thing and swath yourself in 100 scarves!!
And, here's the picture. 🫩
I finished a couple WIPs that have been sitting since last winter. Nalu fingerless mittens in yellow. Rino mittens in blue. Worsted weight wool yarns from my stash. Before blocking. #knitsky
Please share that pattern ... it's lovely!
Yes. Designers create a design, then put out a call for test knitters. They seek knitters who will try different sizes if it applies (for sweaters, for example). Then they correct, tweak, redo as needed before publishing.
I lined mittens with blanket fleece. It's soft, doesn't ravel, and plumps a too bulky mitten. Cut out fleece using the mitten as pattern, stitch it together, insert it seam side out into the mitten (WS of both are together). I tack at the thumb and top, whip stitch to the cuff. Easy & super warm.
It's done. Completed my Selbu Revisited sweater in Alpaca yarn from Rich-Nes Farms here in Minnesota. It's washed & on the blocking mat. I tapered the sleeves & added some pattern & contrast color ribbing to the collar & cuffs. It fits well, with colorwork starting just below the bust. ##KnitSky
I have knitted socks in Lopi yarn. Then felted them to wear around the house!
I googled pac man stitching pattern and several crochet and cross stitch options came up for sale on Etsy. I have used cross stitch patterns for knitting before, as they are graphed too.
Well, here's some 🩷❤️
WIP Wednesday update on Selbu Revisited sweater! Over halfway on the raglan decreases, then short rows and the collar. Made in Alpaca from Rich-nes farms here in Minnesota. I adapted the sleeves to be more tapered with a bit of pattern and contrast cuff. Should be a FO soon!
Wow! I wish I knew about this when we went to Massachusetts last June. Thanks!!
They are pretty in pink. And, well done.
That's how I feel. Ugh
He had to unload...he is so full of it.
