Indeed! I have it here in downtown Palo Alto, pop 67k. Although the slow transition from basic college town to Tech Mecca is slowly pushing out a lot of the businesses that aren't strictly catering to rich people.

Being in community also takes soooooo much patience and grace. I come from tech where everyone pretty much just barks out their orders and it's a very different mindset. And patience and grace are so hard to come by right now.

Everyone during their time at college had That Dope that wrote eye-rolling contrarian takes in the school paper. Imagine That Dope stumbling upwards until they are in charge of telling 60 Minutes how to news. Amazing.

We've had fuckups in the White House before, but never a president who seemed so deliberately intent on being a fuckup.

It's been said before, but if these people were actual agents of an enemy power seeking to divide, dismantle and destroy the USA they wouldn't be doing anything different.
