There are quite a few states that have laws about political deepfakes already, but I think many of them (NY included) have exceptions for AI disclosure (which sucks, IMO).

The discovery of halitosis is an oddly specific memory/event that I don’t think we talk about enough. Or..I don’t know. Actually, we probably don’t need to. But I have a similar memory around 4th or 5th grade.

In honor of the day, here's a moody illustration I made on Halloween 10 years ago when I was living in Chicago, between jobs, playing around with Photoshop at a little coffee shop. I miss doing these little vignettes just for fun, hangin out all day in a new neighborhood somewhere cozy. 🖤

I have used Adobe products for 2 decades, but damnit, I am going to have to give Affinity a try now that it's 0 dollars (while keeping my Adobe sub...that just increased) b/c how could I not? Adobe cost sucks, the BLOAT has become insane, and the all-in-on-AI attitude is such a backstab. Depressing.

My uncle dropped off the last of the kale from their garden a couple of days ago and this Menard's bucket is like the magic pasta pot in Strega Nona. Take out 1 stem and 2 more appear in it's place (doubles as fairly nice porch decor too). Anyway, if anyone needs kale...

GAH!! So, this is SUCH a tough one for me because (even though it's prevalent in Sinners and Weapons) body horror is front & center in The Subs and I am NOT a body horror fan. BUT - I *loved* Demi Moore. I really really liked Marg Q. The story was fun! I loved the color & style! But oh, the gore...

Haha - it's a relatable story at just about any age and Hedgehog is such a lovable little character! Goes much harder than Caillou, and I would appreciate that if I had a 3 y.o.
