I guess if truth isn't on ones side one has little choice. If a campaign is about smearing then we know the campaigners offer nothing of value or benefit. Supporting such politics leads to a death spiral. I've lived my entire life in Northern Ireland, I've seen the evidence.

The reality is, that by failing to take the opportunity before them to transform our democracy they have chosen to perpetuate national disintegration.

They now bear responsibility.
