I don't care if I ever see the Rogers "Plus It Up" ad ever again, and it won't cause me to go back to Rogers.

But the Home Hardware "Raise a Little Hell" ad is brilliant. I can watch it every break. And I shop there.

1. A lazy long weekend Monday (or a bike ride in the crazy warm temps)
2. Low hydro rates (in ON) means running three loads of dishes without worry

I like the 2-3-2 hosting format for 7-game MLB post season series and don't think it should change. But the road team winning 1 of the 1st 2 games drastically changes the home-road dynamic.

Baseball purists: A lead off hitter needs to see lots of pitches, have a high OBP, steal, and be driven home by 2/3/4.

Two likely reasons: 1. Conspicuous consumption. Everyone owns one, so I need to own one. (I see this in cycling). 2. The owner works in a "cash business." Those guys need places to keep money that isn't a bank. Buy a used boat w/cash, no reporting req, sell it for cash again later.
