I missed that moment when I was deployed (like in 92). This article went a long way to helping me understand the Big Deal that the hit and toss have become. One doesn't get that from a few highlights and day after reports.

Back in Ye Olde Days, it was common for small US border towns to have companies that accepted packages for CAN customers, taking advantage of free shipping to US addresses.

I am waiting for CAN-based companies to do the same: provide a shipping address for intl deliveries for US customers.

As a nav-nerd, I take issue with a map analogy. A map is a depiction of known points and features. In the current sec enviro, because Trump, there are too many unknowns over the horizon. Like an early explorer, we need a plan based on goals and sound theory. That's not a map.
