I think the vaporware is necessary to pull off the scam. If I say I have product that produces $X, I have so much less runway to bilk investors out of their money, which means a smaller valuation, which means a smaller payout.

But if I tell them that in 10 years it'll produce $100X... ooh boy

We don't have a policy for fascists. We do have a kill-on-sight policy for terrorists. Only one side is using language that paints a target on the opposition

It's extra wild because we don't have any official policy for dealing with fascists, but we have crystal clear, official policy to kill terrorists.

Even if I bought the BS about it "mimicking Trump," it's irrelevant. The entire reason you curse in public is bc it makes you appear relatable.

If Pritzker wants to steal momentum from Newsom, his best tactic is going to be to dial in on the racist attacks on Black/Brown Americans by Trump.

And the first step is locking arms with Brandon Johnson. Pritzker has a chance to pretty much capture the Black Biden bloc wholesale, if he does that.

There are no studies on the "authenticity" of swearing. It's a ham-fisted idea to say that you can rate how authentic someone swearing is.

The point of swearing is that it breaks social taboos. There's no inauthentic way to break social taboos, even if you're looking over your shoulder to do it

Cursing is exactly the same virtue signaling as wearing jeans and a rolling up your sleeves.

How well you do it is irrelevant to the actual action of doing it. No one cares how authentic you're rolled up shirt sleeves look, just like no one cares how authentic your cursing is.

The entire point of doing it is to show you will break out of DC robot politician mode and say things you're not supposed to say.

It's literally why there are studies that say cursing makes you seem more relatable.
