Tom, having the one elected official expected to represent the entire nation be elected by a national popular vote does not “unravel federalism.” It’s just a common sense approach to electing a national politician that isn’t based in the protection of slavery.

This dissent in the Texas gerrymandering case is batshit crazy and SCOTUS is going to eat it up

It's not even a morality issue---it's an equity issue.

In essence, about half the student body has to manage the prospect that approaching the professor for help, professional advice, guidance, or feedback is going to go sideways.

Women in his classes are not getting the same class.
I know that at this point it's a subplot in the Epstein files drama, but I feel compelled to point out, once again, that Larry Summers HAS NO BUSINESS teaching students at ANY university ever again!

Why Is Larry Summers Still Employed?
The revelations about the economist’s attempts to pressure a women into a “relationship”—with guidance from Jeffrey Epstein—should finally disqualify him from teaching students.

The panel is Obama, Trump, Trump, but signed as a "per curiam" opinion, which means "by the court."

That's usually reserved for when judges want to speak with one voice, especially in political cases, and the name of the opinion's author is not really relevant. Or else the law is well settled.
