We're not debating populism though. I'd argue there are ways to check populism that don't invovle giving *some* populations more political power than *others.* We're debating why a person in Montana should have 60-odd *more votes* than a person in Cali.
A debate we should do this live sometime. :)

I don’t want to be ruled by white people… and yet… in a republic where the majority of people are white, I don’t have a choice.

So why is me being ruled by the majority of whites “okay” but you being ruled by “the majority”… not okay?

Because “states rights”? Boy, where have I heard that before?

If you were really into Federalism, you shouldn’t want an executive at all if we’re taking it from first principles. *Prime Minister of the Congress* should be enough for you.
But, this way, you and you Islanders get more power than you deserve. —A guy from a borough more populous than your state.

Tom, having the one elected official expected to represent the entire nation be elected by a national popular vote does not “unravel federalism.” It’s just a common sense approach to electing a national politician that isn’t based in the protection of slavery.

It made money. Just not *enough* money. They couldn’t quite figure out how to get maximum profits for minimal effort like the Sims 4. And so they got rid of it

Anthem killed that game. Well, first EA tried to kill it because it didn’t kill WoW and that was an unfair expectation. But BioWare Austin plugged along and it was still really fun till they all got pulled off into Anthem and then EA fully gave up on it.
