That would feel strange. My parents are still in the home we moved to in 1994, so that's constant. But so much is changing around it.

Absolutely!! And for me it's a double whammy of having travelled halfway across the world to spend time with family and friends... This is 'home' but it's not the home I live in from day to day. Which can also be draining. And the constant expectation to socialise...

I've heard quite a few BTS and BTS solo songs at my local M&S! I don't know whether they have a communal company playlist or whether it's all individual stores. But there seems to be an ARMY in charge of the music at my local!

It's necessary. I've been here for 2.5 weeks already and every single day there has been some sort of social engagement. That is NOTHING like my normal existence and I'm really wearing thin.

Although today *was* lovely, I am very pleased that now I am alone in my room getting the solitude I need to be a functioning member of society. I need to stock up as I'll be visiting extended family for the next four days and while I adore them, it's a LOT for my introvert nature!

I made a stupid mistake and turned up half an hour late to meet a dear friend earlier today. I simply remembered the time incorrectly.
She'd left by that point, which is fair enough. I'm trying not to beat myself up over it. Especially as there won't be another chance to catch up on this trip. 😞
