Its also poignant in a way because Mario won't remember all Yoshi (is it the same Yoshi even?) did for him or meet the other colours of Yoshi's again but that's not the point, its about doing what's best for the child.

the sequels get very daft and milk the premise but I like it as a standalone lol

its a very aesthetic game, one of those point A to B games I could get into the 'storyline'(?) of as a kid a la Rayman because "okay they are delivering the child and transporting them through these landscapes, handing them off to the next Yoshi as a team effort etc".

Yoshi's Island... is good? 😵‍💫

Hadn't touched it in years, I was always put off by the controls. Now trying it again with a decent controller with a GOOD d-pad... holy crap. I get it now.

This has actually been true for a *very* long time tbh, if you are paying someone for a commission through the regular payment method do not *ever* leave "commission" or "payment" in the comments, it's intended for non-business purposes and they'll snipe your account if they ever catch it on yours 😞

I was initially worried that the "blockers" in INSECTILE would annoy players... but many cited them as the most interesting parts of the demo!

Back in college I did a one page test for this comic idea I had. It surrounded a buck who died in a bog and got his spirit trapped there, and his subsequent relationship with his old herd.

I have trouble letting go of ideas I never got to finish but who knows if I’ll ever go back to it.
