Using their own created shutdown as an excuse, the American Duce Wannabe and his Project 2025-American Mein Kampf-White Christian Nationalist Partner Russell Vought have, as promised, instituted a series of federal government layoffs that they have targeted as "Democrat-oriented." Unfortunately, these layoffs are nothing more than a continuation of the federal workforce cuts, outlined in Project 2025 and instigated with DOGE at the beginning of this administration that are designed to cut programs that educate the vulnerable and advance disease prevention to save lives.

There are moments in political life so morally bankrupt, so cynically calculated, and with such disregard for the voice of the people that they demand to be inscribed in History. Some people’s lives may best serve only as an example to others. Such is Mike Johnson. Let History take note. In a contract quietly awarded earlier this year, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) purchased a fleet of vehicles equipped with cell‑site simulators — devices that work as cellphone towers to intercept and track phones in their vicinity. ICE has used a ubiquitous surveillance technology to locate, arrest, and deport undocumented immigrants in the US in recent years, using the "Stingray" hacking device that lets them disguise themselves as cell phone towers.
