In my long by now career as a #librarian I've often had to put up with that condescending, silently disrespectful view as lesser from faculty in #academia and #HigherEd. (You can also throw in some #racism as I am Latino, but that is another story.)

And I've had too many faculty over the years act like I'm lesser than simply because I'm staff (and one is one too many.) Too many doctors have done the same toward nurses, even though they are often working more closely with their patients.

Do what you can where you can. Rest when you need to do so, but don't stop. This resistance needs all of us ... And these roles may look different than marching on the streets (I appreciate those that do. I don't appreciate the folks who act like marching on the streets is the be all and end all)
