Haven’t made an official announcement until now, but my commissions are closed and won’t have an eta for when I reopen them. My classes have officially started and they’re quite intensive, so between that and work I want to use what little free time I have just drawing for myself <3

I'll say it again, Art is communication.

"Create for yourself" really means "Create art that communicates who you are." And one sided communication feels terrible. Commenting on peoples art/creations can be scary, I get it. But COMMENT. COMMUNICATE. We want to hear it. I want to hear it.

Blackouts only really work if what you’re targeting is dependent on your continued presence for monetization.

Given that BlueSky has zero monetization it makes more sense to stick around and be as loud as possible.
