Yeah no. I've seen what happens to people who's OCs get a little too popular in the XIV space and I wouldn't wish that upon anyone.
Hell, sometimes people get a little too weird about Oda or Rin or Carmen or any of the others and I immediately feel the need to shut everything down because no.

re: oc popularity, you must do what you feel is best for yourself, but my own advice would be not to covet oc popularity. it's normal and healthy to want that feeling of validation, but it really is a monkey's paw kind of thing. the more popular your oc gets, the less people see YOU as human!

Haha yeah. Like following someone for years across three dites to send them anon hate and accusations that get more wild and unhinged because they *checks notes* called CT boring.
You can dislike someone without scrutinizing their every move to find something "evil" to justify yourself. Not everyone you dislike is inherently horrible, it's fine to just not like them and be kind and NORMAL about it.
