Oomfie mentioned he wished brio had a way to disable parenting of bones when you're posing and I realized this is information not a lot of people know. But if you select the bone you want, click on the Propagate icon and then disable Position and Rotation, it is no longer parented.

This right here is really the main reason why I don't include many NPCs in...well, anything I do. Afraid that people will make a scene.

I get folks love their NPCs and that's great, more power to ya! However, making them "exclusive" shouldn't be it, no matter how known, or unknown they are.
