I’ve been gposing for many years, and one thing I could never get a grasp on was lighting. I /always/ use a three point lighting system for almost all of my gposes now. Study what colors look best with your characters! For Ikumi I noticed a lot of pastels work but also white and sometimes gold!

within Brio If you untick the check boxes under Propagate you adjust just the selected bone. For this example, I've selected the waist, normally it would move your whole lower body But if you uncheck those it will only move a single body Part useful for adjusting without redoing everything

i have a whole thread up of gpose tips but i never included this one - PUSH YOUR POSES. references below, but pushing your poses makes them feel more dynamic and 'living,' if that makes sense. if you find your gposes or posing work looking 'stiff,' push it.

Whoa this is way too many people injecting Dalamud.

Brio has excellent camera control options, don't be afraid to use them! the ability to spawn multiple Free Cams is especially helpful for taking sequential shots where the camera needs to remain static for continuity, but you still need to be able to occasionally fly the camera for posing tweaks

- USE A HAIR LIGHT !!! - add texture to your dark haired blorb by angling an overhead spotlight onto their hair and reducing the distance of the light

Your WoL tends to look really dinky next to a lot of the furniture/fences/etc in the game but if you change all three Scale sizes to 1.5 they'll look way more natural. (nearby props potentially prohibiting lol)
