Make queueing for stuff be role locked instead of job locked, and when pressing "Ready" just make the game do a role/lvl/ilvl check.
Sometimes I might queue up for something as a DRG and halfway through the waiting queue I realize I actually wanna play MNK more but leaving queue would be a waste.

I think I finally reached enlightenment of seeing discourse happening on social media about xiv players and having no idea of what is going on, knowing no parties involved and haven't seen any of it on my timeline. And it lowkey feels amazing.

The rest is a mixture of Patreon not working for people of certain regions + folks wanting their own dedicated spaces + all options being equally bad but functional + a lot of people wanting to become famous mod makers and making it into a "business" that needs branding

Back in the day 👴🏾 people mostly used the XMA. But then a lot of moral conflicts happened with it and with that people took their stuff out. Glamourer was made as "the morally correct alternative" but over time it got overran by premium stuff and AI. Thus people started to each go to their own place.

I'd look into the og mod and see if the creator has perms about it. If it's something along the lines of "edits/upscales/ports ok" and whatnot, directly contacting them is not needed. Just letting people know you're using their stuff and credit properly should suffice.

The only reason I don't get it is because model only = everything is already done and there, it just doesn't have the textures. If you're going to override the original anyways to use the upscale why not include the textures too? People that wanna use both will have collections anyways ☠️

Honestly considering it is a personal ranking I think even ARR would be a bit higher for me, because my ARR is different than say ARR of someone that started in Stormblood. Some of my most fond memories of this game are from back when everything was new and exciting as a sprout.

My ranking is mostly for the whole package, because some expansions had really good story and poor content, or vice versa. Out of all of them I just really couldn't get that into Endwalker. I don't think it's bad, I like it still, but I've just never been a fan of galaxy scale threats like that. lol
