Two weeks after this statement was when Grok went “MechaHitler”.

During those two weeks they retrained it on Nazi talking points and rewrote its knowledge of history.

“MechaHitler” went too far so they dialed it back to be less obvious.

Zuckerberg’s reaction to the scandal was to restrict access to info about what FB was doing to users, so they wouldn’t get caught again.

Twitter used to be open to researchers who could track and report on this kind of manipulation. Musk has essentially shut all that work down.
