Not if they want a robust economy they can periodically steal from. A strong and healthy middle class creates the robust economy they’re looking for. We had it for a hot minute. An ultra wealthy 1% at the top will become stagnant—or go to war.

I'm tired. We're all tired. This isn't hard to understand. You can't inflate prices of basic necessities like food and housing to ridiculous highs while keeping wages at poverty levels, then act surprised when luxury goods/services and large purchases become unattainable or payments unaffordable.
