This is a young Adenium obesum "Golden Carrot." Adeniums are prized for their large and sculptural caudex (trunk) and large roots. They're also known for their flowers. This cultivar has bright orange flowers. 🌱

A 3-4 year old Adenium obesum in a nautilus shaped pot. It has a thick light colored caudex and small roots that are above soil. The branches were grafted to an adenium root stock to achieve this cultivar.

The top of a Euphorbia obesa (Baseball plant). This one is around six years old. It hasn't flowered yet, so am hoping it happens this year. 🌱

This Echeveria is a survivor. I planted it a few years ago in the hottest part of my yard. It struggled for a couple of years, but never gave up. Now it's looking better than ever after another long hot summer. 🌱

I just noticed the first tiny yellow flower popped up on my Astridia velutina. It's doing well after three seasons in the front garden and am hoping for a lot for more flowers this year. 🌱
