I would guess businesses want their employees doing great work while employed
*Sees Bears somehow at 9 and initiates agenda to legitimize the ranking list as a whole*

Fully agree, should maybe be 2 or even 1 though.
Coleston Loveland will earn ~$6.6 million per year which ranks 23rd in the NFL.
Top TE contracts by APY:

George Kittle — $19.1M
Trey McBride — $19M
Travis Kelce — $17.125M
TJ Hockenson — $16.5M
Dallas Goedert — $14.25M

Kittle and McBride's deals were signed less than 4 weeks apart.
I like what Ben Johnson and Ryan Poles have put together for the offense in 2025…

Except they missed out on RB in the draft, and I’m not sure if Swift + Johnson are enough to fuel a run-heavy, play-action system.
The more Kioer hyper-fixates on Shedeur, the more he validates the slide. The unwanted attention is the heaviest part of the “Sanders package” *pause*
That’s a great deal. EDGE or RB at 56?
That’s a group of pass catchers to scheme with
Bears pass catchers:

WR DJ Moore
WR Rome Odunze
WR Luther Burden III
TE Colston Loveland
TE Cole Kmet
Do you have full details?
Gotcha haha. Yea I would disagree there.
It might have been more to give them a sense of a chance - Russ is on a 1 year deal, Winston a 2.

IF Daboll shows what he can do, having the future plan at QB is nearly necessary. Otherwise he would be starting over again next season.
Not a smart move to greenlight a developmental, scheme-specific QB selection in the 1st for a HC and GM that are 1 inch from the edge.

Is the next coach going to assume responsibility?
Chicago is going to major the tish out of 12 personnel in 2025. I can’t wait to see which RB is selected to tote the rock 20 times a game.
Not saying it’ll work out, but they signed the top FA C, and traded for two Gs. Those are the attempts to address OL. Not to mention 3 tackles were off the board before the Bears could pick.
An incredibly small BMI receiver and highest drafted CB ever. If he is truly an outlier of all outliers, it’s maybe bad. But avoiding risk is maybe good for the Franchise that bet a fully guaranteed contract and a boatload of picks on a QB and lost.
If Hampton falls or Henderson is the target for Johnson… does Poles trade into the 1st?

NFL teams like to trade up or back when they have two nearly adjacent picks.

Bears senior director of player personnel Jeff King on Colston Loveland: "I love the versatility. ... The ability to play in 12 (personnel) but be able to separate in the passing game. ... The versatility, the matchup issues you can cause and complement Cole (Kmet)."
I’m with you. I was mentally prepped for Jeanty, no matter what.
Desperately trying to trade back?
Walker was never a fit based on athletic profile for Dennis Allen. Warren was a different flavor, but some analysts actually like Loveland better. Will be interesting to see how it all turns out.
