When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Not really. "I'm just messin' with you," as my son-in-law says. This is beautiful and great. I'd like to see a parade of skateboarders in various costumes -- from lederhosen to bearskins to frog suits. With high school bands.

Oh, thank you! I have not been able to think of a route back to America short of armed insurrection. But, after a massive general strike, of course, the next attempt would be tax withholding!

If all fails, federal tax resistance should be the next step, however complicated. WE, THE PEOPLE pay for his shenanigans. We actually pay our tormentors. We give them our money to exploit and harass US All. That simple fact angers me! Badly.

You are correct that she shouldn't serve an easier time than other prisoners, but being imprisoned, even in a palace, isn't "living large." It would be better if more people in prison were treated better than they are now.

The rich & powerful have always been able to force others to submit. Since you have to bow, anyway, perhaps it's easier to think them good & wise. In reality, material success is NOT a virtue, not something to emulate or admire.
