There were a handful of Least Terns on the hunt at Turnbull Birding Center in #PortAransasTX. Unique looking with their yellow beaks, white forehead and small size. #Birds #Nature.

@dogs.bsky.social we did a lil thing today. Meet Roxy. We named her after the red rocks in Sedona. She was surrendered to our Vet along with 4 of her siblings. She’s shy and quiet. But her new brother Archie will show her the way. Her late sibling Teeny, also a mix of chihuahua & terrier, sent her!

After a ton of patience and a little luck, I captured a clean shot of a Least Tern in flight as it soared over the San Jose del Cabo estuary. These little guys move FAST and erratically, like swallows.

A number of terns were on the hunt yesterday near Packery Channel jetties. The fishing seemed good and it allowed me some BIF (birds in flight) pics. I always enjoy getting pics of Least Terns. #Birds #Nature #CorpusChristiTx

I helped return lost pets after Katrina. i was so incensed that I never forgot the name Pam Bondi. one of the people I volunteered with is in favor of the current administration. when he first reached out to bondi, my friend said that he must not know about her or he wouldn't pick her.

I'm not going to discourage you, it's the most livable city in the country, twice the living space of NYC for half the price, but check the weather for the months of january and february and note the complete lack of sunshine.
