Wind don’t bother me! A few days ago this Gray Catbird put up with the strong wind to come by and check out the vintage. 🤓 grabbed a few sips of the water. #Birds #CorpusChristiTx #Nature

I haven’t seen the species for more than a week in and around our yard. Glad to see at least three of them show this morning. They were also a little vocal and I really love their call. Groove-Billed Ani. #Birds #CorpusChristiTX.

We are starting to get the return of some old friends to our area in the last few days. We’ll enjoy them for the winter. Even when we don’t see them in their hangout area a quarter of a mile away, it’s always fun to hear their calls early and late in the day. #SandhillCranes #Birds #CorpusChristiTX

We are starting to get a few new birds in the yard as we transition into fall. Over the last few days a number of Gray Catbirds have been coming to our water features. #Birds #CorpusChristiTx #RingStickupCam

This is my walking pal, Buddy, who is ready every evening for a walk around the neighborhood. Gives him a chance to take a break from his exhausting work of barking at Wild Pigs, Opossums and the like. 🤪. Great Pyrenees. #CorpusChristiTx

Last night we were so happy to receive an encore performance from the Cirque du Raccoon. To finish the show with an emphatic climax, it provided the always popular mic drop. Err, hummer feeder drop. #Mammal #CorpusChristiTX

When the Baltimore Orioles are migrating through our area, I try to put out some orange halves for them. I think they enjoy them. #Birds #CorpusChristiTx

After reading some online recommendations about providing additional perches for hummers by putting up zip ties, I decided to give it a try. I have 3 up and they are used constantly by those who want to keep close watch over “their” feeder. 😜 #Birds #CorpusChristiTx

Still having a decent number of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds in the yard on the feeders and visiting our variety of blooms. #Birds #CorpusChristiTX #Nature.
