Here is a shocking fact. ⬇️

Because of politics, no party can address this fact.

A neutral at least allows them cover to address what has happened and where the UK is at.

I accept that the idea of control of a sinking ship may appeal to those three parties more

Between 2019 and 2024 in real terms EU exports grew by 11%.

UK exports also grew. By 0.89%.

That's the total. Goods exports were lower in real terms in 2024 than in 2014.

@antonspisak.bsky.social of the @centreeuropeanref.bsky.social, a think-tank, observes that, after Brexit took effect at the end of 2020, Britain’s goods exports have grown less than those of any other economy in the G7 club of rich countries.

Good analysis and realistic as far as I can see.

Interesting to see how inequality is so much less in the mentioned EU countries compared to the UK.
Don't even think many consider themselves far more lucky but they are!

1/6 or 1/9 makes a huge difference.

Quality article by @andrewduffeu.bsky.social on a royal commission on Brexit.

Essentially there are two chapters to this.

The first is addressing the effect of Brexit on the UK.

The major issue is the lack of an established truth that Brexit was a mistake in public and across WM.

As sexy as a concrete block...... if I have to choose... I'll choose a real concrete block. Don't want that guy around the house.
botrange694.bsky.social
OK let's say your tactic works... we get load of pro indy MP's..
Eg: 62 SNP
23 Greens

But the indy ref1 precedent is not met....

Are you happy: many more
Pro indy MP's Murdo Fraser gone..

Starmer: precedent not met & the extra seats have a dodgy feel to it

A Welsh NHS strike threat reported on BBC Wales contained no politics at all 👇 yet a negative story about Grampian NHS has been constantly politicised by the BBC in Scotland with attacks on the SNP.

Why is the BBC using a different editorial policy for Scotland?

Dr Husam Zomlot, Head of Palestinian Mission to the UK, spoke movingly at the SNP Conference today. Well worth listening to his whole speech 👇

Very rarely is a Palestinian voice heard without bias and interruption on British media.

A good news story I'm sure the British media in Scotland will be getting behind...
botrange694.bsky.social
Yip. Seems to be the best option.
I haven't seen anything credible involving a standard SNP1 Greens2 for the whole of Scotland.

The Greens standing down their constituency vote candidates doesn't seem part of their plan.

Ballot Box Scotland is impartial (& a Green) but he hasn't endorsed this.
botrange694.bsky.social
Well I can't comment on that but I would like to see him replacing Labour.
botrange694.bsky.social
My problem with your advice is that SNP1 Greens2 should apply to every constituency.

If there are some: fine but then the Greens shouldn't compete on the constituency vote as that's obviously a wasted vote.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇵🇸 Thank you, Ambassador Zomlot.

Scotland will always proudly stand with the people of Palestine, in the pursuit of peace, justice and a lasting two-state solution.
botrange694.bsky.social
I'm sure they're afraid of that but..... a re-run of the EU referendum wouldn't solve anything at the moment: it's an EU decision not a UK decision.
Article 49 is the route but no one seems interested to take the official route...

People with knowledge of the system disagree with you.

I'm in the Highlands & Islands region and there seems to be agreement that SNP 1&2 is the sensible way to go.

Maybe it works in parts of big cities like Glasgow.

Well in that case forget politics & leave it all to Westminster because nothing will ever work.

Is that " your solution "?
botrange694.bsky.social
Come back to me when you've got a workable solution.

Purist rubbish is what kills the indy movement.

Why do you think the unionist media love Alba & SNP malcontents?
botrange694.bsky.social
Well you just said you won't vote for the SNP because you're angry.

So what's the point of being an indy supporter if your stance helps unionist parties?

Alba have exactly the same attitude as you now & it is/was a free gift to unionists: divide & rule remember.
botrange694.bsky.social
Well congratulations!

Kind regards,

All unionists
botrange694.bsky.social
You sound like a unionist a Labour voter..... or maybe Alba because they were damaging the indy cause non stop.
botrange694.bsky.social
It all depends what's most important to you!
And how the system works.

If the Greens had become the best option for independence I'd choose them.
If the libdems were a reliable indy party with the best chance to get indy over the line I'd choose them.
But it's the SNP for now.

Indy first!
