In some respects, worst outcome from Geneva and current Trump focus on Ukraine is that nothing happens. US admin is already showing signs of "actually what we said isn't final" which probably leads to a slipped deadline and can kick. Putin sits on his hands a couple of days then escalates again.

Well aside from the freak goal, I cannot remember feeling so comfortable in a North London derby at any point in my life. In the first half, Spurs were the worst I’ve ever seen a PL team. Even low block sides offer something. Worst approach to a game of football Ive ever seen.

Among many problems with Trump's latest post A) the war was happening during his first term, having started in 2014; B) he apparently threatened Putin over Ukraine (the 'no way' claim), so clearly there was "even a mention" during first term

Competition is usually a good thing and in theory this would improve the quality of both papers.

Having worked at one of these companies and done work for the other, the hyper aggressive culture and paranoia at both will make it unbearable (most likely at the Telegraph) for staff.
Daily Mail's parent company agrees a deal to buy Telegraph for £500m! Media consolidation, let's go, ya gonna blink and stop this competition regulators? Over to you, Nandy? Strong potential everyone just waves the sale through to STOP HAVING TO READ OR THINK ABOUT IT. www.ft.com/content/cd8e...

I apologise for this, but I need everyone to join me in a rousing internal chorus of Where's the money from? to the tune of chirpy chirpy cheep cheep.
Because I shouldn't suffer alone and the Mail's last bid for the telegraph was funded by Qatar and Abu Dhabi I think

Choices are being made at the moment that are bigger than Trump owning the libs or how many pro-Trump voices the BBC or CNN chooses to have in their coverage. If you care about Trump being “right” and getting a peace prize more than Putin’s war crimes, you’re beyond help

Trump’s rehabilitation of Putin sends the message to others that if you bully your neighbours you will be rewarded with propaganda wins like the red carpet treatment he gave Putin. You may even be rewarded with new territory & the ability to meddle in other nation’s constitution

Those who say Trump is doing something where others sat on the sidelines, sure, but since he’s been president, attacks on Ukraine have only increased - dramatically so. Putin couldn’t even keep a lid on it during the bizarre bro-fest in Alaska, bombs literally fell as they met
