I got to go to my aikido class for the first time since my left wrist surgery.

For the first time in over a year, I got to just attend class with no caveat or impending surgery or health concerns.

I just practiced a martial art I love and connected with my friends at the dojo.

I needed it.

I went back to Izard county today to visit my folks at the cemetery. Its good to go sit in the quiet and still...it kind of centers and resets me.

Plus, the church there is supposed to be haunted. I don't know if it actually is, but it is definitely creepy as hell.
