If the #Pittsburgh T ever goes to Allentown full time, I hope that the new(?) line goes to North Shore instead of just to Penn Station. The North Shore connection worked well tonight for my Allentown excursion!

I really did not like this era of streetcar design specifically for that reason. Development was the primary goal, and actually solving transit issues was treated as a secondary benefit. It's also why we have streetcar projects that aren't part of the local transit agency and competes with buses.

I caught a glimpse of a T car that initially looked like another wrap, only this time without windows. However, I think this is actually paint. If so, here's the first official vehicle to be painted in the new PRT livery with the intended colors!

I must get a better photo next time I see this car!

This indeed is a very sad place, especially when one isn't flush with money to run out and get a new car. It's why I'm scared of getting another car, much less relying on it for transportation and work like I did with my old car. I'm so grateful I can get by without one for now. #bikelife #transit
