Hello I'm Bryan Teoh! I'm a composer/music producer who writes music for media. I've written music for Disney, Nickelodeon, Hulu, and as many indie projects that I can get my hands on. I play a lot of instruments, am stylistically versatile, and always looking for work.

I’m 100% with you. I’m saying that upright players manage to not slide every note so I’m not sure why it’s so common with fretless electric basses. That swoopy playing style that feels synonymous with the instrument is what I dislike about it moreso than anything about the instrument itself.

I tend to get more annoyed with how people play the fretless bass. Taste often goes right out the window and it’s like everything has to be portamento and extreme vibrato so they can show that there aren’t frets. But upright players seem to be able to manage not being so swoopy all the time so 🤷‍♂️

You won't believe me when I tell you that @thequeencryptid.bsky.social wrote the lyrics to the first section of this song like within minutes of sending the demo. And I can't explain the absolute euphoria I felt when I heard the recordings of her singing. Absolutely fantastic work all around!!!

You know what really sucks? At any point, some mega rich billionaire could just throw a massive wad of cash at The Jim Henson Company and say "make whatever insanely epic historically unprecedented puppet series for adults that you'd like" and every day, they choose to not do that.

I am jealous of your financial security. I will be cranking on client projects in exchange for money for the next few weeks to dig myself out of a pit of fiscal despair but someday before I am dead I will take your advice. Someday...😭
