Thank you! It’s s an abalone shell. I’ve been taking photos of the shells my father and father-in-law harvested off the Sonoma coast in the 80’s and 90’s foe several years now 😊

Hey there! It’s a macro photograph of an abalone shell that I’ve held up so the sun is shining through from behind. It’s an older shell, so the areas that are thinner let more light through, giving it a kind of lava effect. Thanks for asking! 😊
