In a desperate troubleshooting attempt, I looked at the ESS and dream chips' legs with my phone's macro function but could not find legs touching each other.
Magnification's not strong enough to tell if they're still fully soldered.
Chips get warm, but not suspiciously hot.
No sound on any channel.

And even so, what is its significance? Macro is forecast all over the place. What is missing is a settled determination to do and stick at some well known supply side things. It isn't having a slightly wobbly near term forecast of rates currencies and NGDP that's hurting us. We're not hedge funds
