If you can find a real shoe repair shop, they sell chamois for areas with rubbing. Something similar might be sold in shoe stores but I’ve had better luck with the foot problem aisles in drugstores or discount stores.

So my initial answer was "Alphabetical, by author, duh." And probably 50% of my books as organized that way. But I also have shelves dedicated to books I haven't read, a YA section, a small dedicated bookshelf for entertainment industry books, a shelf of "books by friends." Etc. So... "Anarchy."

These are my OrthoFeet shoes. I just wanted “athletic” shoes with a slightly wider toe box cuz I’ll be walking and running in them. These are Moravia style. They only say OrthoFeet out of sight. ;)
