Teddy Roosevelt had some really good ideas regarding national parks and conservation and Nixon started the EPA and was one round in trying to get some form of universal healthcare so they aren't all out of ideas even if they have a lot of shitty ones

Yeah, living in NYC, I see a lot of people not from here assume they know why he's doing well here and they usually are at best, missing information. And it's a hard thing to replicate/bottle and sell to someone running elsewhere

I just had a theory and this could be wrong, but I've noticed a big push on here to not quote post, because it's gauche or something, so instead of just ... not talking about it, people screenshot and that immediately means you've lost the context unless you do your own digging.

What I find most ... Weird? Is that I thought that on Twitter, we all kinda became aware that once you past a certain mark, you just can't post everything on your brain. And yet I saw blue checks, whomst I assume aren't new to the game, shitting on you.

I'm not kidding but that's seen as almost indecent in the US. Last year my boyfriend and I were walking around Coney Island and it was only the occasional Brighton Beach Russian dude in a speedo. Meanwhile, a lot of women's suits easily ride up the butt crack
