I've found a good set of lists of horror movies I'm plodding through but I could use more horror podcast recommendations.

I don't want to call it a *sin* for various reasons but my one complaint against Sinners is that Jordan repeatedly takes off his gris-gris bag by yanking on the bag so the leather thong breaks and there's only one scene were that motion makes sense and in the others, it's a trope that annoys me.

I've often wanted to be on a reality tv show but I'm not under 35 with a six pac and more importantly, I'm not sure I have the acting to swear that voting between getting rid of Ottoman or Celery from the other team is the hardest decision I'll ever make or how much I love these people I just met

I hope the op doesn't mind the quote post cause I really really like what this says. I come across a decent number of atheists who debate Christians and it's very glaring, even as a a Christian myself, how much they accept the Christian framing of scripture, without pushback.+

Finally saw Sinners last night.
1) The company I was with were ... weird? Talked throughout the whole movie including constantly trying to point things out or do like ... boomer grandparent questions which got annoying for a group of 30-40somethings.
2) Apparently, no one has heard Irish music+

I'm about to go watch TV before bed but to my minimal followers, there's a lot of accounts saying dumb ass shit out there that have no followers, nothing on main, barely a profile. This isn't new and it's not just on here but I think we need to block if we haven't already been doing so.

There's a thing I see in "Christian vs Atheist!!" debates where the atheists are all "well, do YOU stone disobedient children?!" as some sort of Old Testament mic drop.
Is there an inter Jewish version of this? Not like Jewish vs Atheist but more liberal vs conservative Torah mic drop?

One thing that seemed to have happened regarding the Read Another Damn Book meme/critique/online snark clubs is that people did go to read another book. They just read The Hungey Games and decided that all forms of visible wealth are The Capitol.

Maybe it's my brain working like this today but I just want to be clear, this wasn't a knock on the entire Romantasy genre. I think it's just like any other genre and yet it gets singled out as the Downfall of Humanity as compared to, say, James Patterson or Dan Brown.
Same thing with the romantasy stuff. The person in question didn't deride the entire genre of romantasy but a lot of video responses act like she did. And yes there are people out there who have done that, but that's not this creator.

Toupee's in Houston was a lesbian owned restaurant that shut down probably during W's admin and became generic pasta establishment. I have no idea was it is now. I remember none of the food they served or if the coffee was good but it was a really peaceful place that had a cute open mic night.
