Around the time I left Houston, they had elected a lesbian mayor and were the largest city with that. They've also voted Ds candidates for mayor most of my life. Meanwhile, up here in NYC, our record isn't so hot.

My friends who've had gout seem to just ...have it? I know one person that I regularly saw what he ate and it made sense and other folks it just seemed to be weird luck is the genetic draw. I'm also not a doctor and probably speaking on what I don't know.

This comes from being too online but I gotta say I absolutely loathe the US vs the EU+UK food and culture arguments. Yeah, some blonde lady went to Nando's and posted a TikTok about how confused she was by salad cream but I've worked retail in Times Square and none of you are free from sin.

The problem is they aren't related so you can't do a nice family tree of which hedonist went on to become a church father.

On the other hand, there's a lot less incest than your average pantheon but that's also cause none of the MCs are having sex.
